Don Bosco's Children's Home
The Don Bosco's Children's Home is an outreach minstry in the Salesian spirit of St. John Bosco. We are dedicated to making life better for the world's poorest and neediest children. Over the past few years, many children have had to suffer abuse, abandonment or neglect from families in crisis. There has been a great need in our communities for families who can provide good loving environments for these children. At Don Bosco's Children's Home our plan is to aid in this need by alleviating the hardships that many of these children have had to experience in their lives. We at Don Bosco's Children's Home will be providing a healing environment using the Preventive Method of St. John Bosco consisting of reason, religion and loving kindness.
The home consists of 3 buildings with 13 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and 3 chapels. A beautiful, wooded area surrounds the buildings making it a place of peace and tranquility. The interior of the home is designed specifically to meet the needs of the children especially as it pertains to their reflection on God and His goodness. The home is fully furnished. A locked screened lap pool on the grounds also adds to the children's enjoyment.
The Don Bosco's Children's Home advocates for the children's rights defending them, obtaining social services and directing their lives. We encourage education, arts, and the sciences in an effort to help each child become a whole, happy, well-balanced individual.
We hope you hear the call of the Lord as we did, and help by responding to this great mission in need.
"The Lord put us into this earth to serve others."
